nslookup / resolver behaviour, appending domains?

That's exactly what I was looking for (as Joseph Lang also suggested). By
appending a 'dot' onto the names I know are already complete - it makes them
fully qualified, and named doesn't walk the "search" list in /etc/resolv.conf
