hi list,

I would like to disable completely IPv6 on my server machine, this is done. But in my netstat i have this result:

netstat -nlupe
Active Internet connections (only servers)
Proto Recv-Q Send-Q Local Address Foreign Address State User Inode PID/Program name
udp               0            0  0.0.0.0:67                   0.0.0.0:*                                        0             25956980   29360/dhcpd
udp               0            0  0.0.0.0:45856            0.0.0.0:*                                        0             25956962   29360/dhcpd
udp               0            0  :::64712                     :::*                                                 0             25956963   29360/dhcpd

I would like to understand what is the line in bold, and if it possible to deactivate IPv6

The server (dhcpd) is running with -4 argument and the kernel does not load the ipv6 module.

Any help appreciated.
