I think it was the other direction.  If you do a release it doesn't clean up
all of the DDNS information.  This should be fixed in 4.2.4.  If you can
use a release candidate version 4.2.4rc1 may fix the problem.

Though as the original comment states that they aren't being removed
on expiry there may be another issue as well.
