If you mean globally routable addresses, you don't. However, there is
no shortage of IPv6 addresses yet.

Imagine you have lots of VLANs acting as 'back end networks' (for
instance between web server and back end database), and wish the
NICs on that LAN to be configured (including receiving IPv6 addresses)
automatically, perhaps because you have some elastic service automatically
adding and deleting servers. How does DHCP work in that environment
if it provides the IP address but not the netmask?
