dynamic bootp clients and failover

Hi all,

quote from man dhcpd.conf:
"This option does not satisfy the requirement of failover peers for
denying dynamic bootp clients.  The deny dynamic bootp clients; option
should be used instead."

1. Is that still true, do I have to deny dynamic bootp clients, if I use
failover? Why?

2. If I have to use it, why is it not implied in the failover statement?
