error during cross compiling of isc dhcp???

Hi all,
While giving make command in dhcp-4.2.3 directory , its throwing an error which i mentioned below.
What would be the reason for the below error.

[user at nemo dhcp-4.2.3]$ make
Making all in bind
make[1]: Entering directory `/home/user/dhcp-4.2.3/bind'
Configuring BIND Export libraries for DHCP.
configure: WARNING: if you wanted to set the --build type, don't use --host.
    If a cross compiler is detected then cross compile mode will be used

Building BIND Export libraries - this takes some time.

make[1]: *** [all] Error 2
make[1]: Leaving directory `/home/user/dhcp-4.2.3/bind'
make: *** [all-recursive] Error 1

                I am using ISC DHCP-4.2.3 version.
                I want to cross compile DHCP-4.2.3.Please share the procedure for cross compiling ISC DHCP-4.2.3
