DHCPv6/OMAPI/default-duid format

I take it from the silence that OMAPI manipluation of DHCPv6 host
declarations is not there yet? Is someone working on that or am I the only
one in the world who cares and need to figure out how to contribute?

On another subject, what exactly is the format of the default-duid in
dhclient6.leases? I want to pre-populate that file with a value I can
derive in a predictable fashion from particular firmware cues rather than
dealing with the uncertainty of default auto-gen behavior or
complexities/dubious results of trying to know which mac in a multi-homed
system will become the DUID-LL(T) and leveraging that (I see that 4.2
implements a hack of pretending to match mac address out of DUID-LL*
entities, but can see too many places where that falls on its face in my
world to rely upon it). I've figured it out for Windows and dhcp6c based
systems, just want to duplicate it on newer ISC based clients.
