Max num of static entries

Hi

we are getting a setup in our office where we want fixed address to be
assigned to all the users. we have approxiemately 8000 users as of now , i
do not have problems creating static entries for so many clients but my
doubt is there any cap on the number static address assignments set on the
software . if the there is a limit can some one let me know whether they
have tested it or found success going in higher ranges
