DDNS with dhcpd -6

are you sure the clients are sending a dhcpv6 fqdn option (so we can
get fqdn.hostname)?

oh, one thing it might be;

the default ddns-domainname is the *dhcpv4* domain-name option, so
if you didn't configure one explicitly...
