problem with DHCP Discover packet?

I think that you are actually making progress, but we need to be clear about the terms. Would I be correct to say "you can see the DISCOVER followed by an OFFER from your server?" The Next exchange would be a REQUEST from the client followed by a ACK from the server.

I see no entries other then the successful REQ and OFFER in the logs.
Is there a way to increase the logging via dhcpd.conf?
