host statement...

Thanks to the kind help from this list  I've got the use of the host 
statement to give fixed addresses figured out and working fine.

In the last little while I've been following conversations on the list 
that seem to say that you can setup a fixed address by using the MAC 
instead of the hostname as the identifier.

I just can't seem to figure out how to do this.  Could someone give me 
an example of how this works.  I have a wireless access point that has 
newer firmware that does not allow a hostname to be setup and being able 
to configure IP addresses for everything all in one place is making it 
very easy for me learn how to do all this.
