I have configured it on both a 7301 acting pretty much strictly as a
DHCP relay and on a 6500/sup720 with IOS 12.2(33)SXI1, which now
provides DHCP relay capability on that platform. It's a pretty simple
setup, though--just dynamic addressing from a range for the clients.

Now that the 6500 IOS supports relaying built-in, I don't need the
extraneous 7301 and it has been repurposed. :)
