I suspect this change was wrought in the conversion from ecartis to
mailman (which, among other things, might mean we can pgp-sign our
mail now and not have ecartis mangle it).  I don't know if the change
is deliberate or if mailman lacks the feature, but I can find out.

I'll bring it to the attention of the listmaster and see what they
can do.
