4.0.0 doesn't respond correctly (??) where 3.1.0 did respond as expected

Hi,

Is the server also a Sun? I have noticed that 4.0.0 seems to have some
issues with Solaris interfaces. Make a network trace and see if the offer
packet is actually going out, even if the log suggests otherwise.
