Actually, the two messages you link to are very different - I assume 
you are in the same situation as the second one.

IMHO, the bridge is broken and needs fixing. A layer 2 bridge does 
not alter the packets passing through it in any way<period>. You seem 
to have some sort of 'bastardised' device that is neither a bridge 
nor a router - and it should not be described by the vendor as being 
a bridge.

Have you contacted the vendor to see if this "feature" can be turned 
off and the device made into a real bridge ?
