ISC DHCPv6 Client Rapid Commit

Maybe I am missing something.
Added the following to dhclient.conf:
send dhcp6.rapid-commit;

Following is an snippet from the server configuration:

subnet6 2001:558:FF10:870::/64 {
        range6 2001:558:ff10:870::/64;
        option dhcp6.preference 128;
        option dhcp6.rapid-commit; # perhaps this needs to be globally set?
}

Sniffer says rapid commit is not being used, SOL -> ADV -> REQ -> REP.
