load balance to peer

Hi there,

I have a couple of dhcp servers running failover config.
It seems that when a request triggers the load balancing (how that
happens I don't know) the request gets lost!

The server that gets the request logs this:

May 25 15:49:14 btwlan-dns1 dhcpd: [ID 702911 local7.debug] DHCPDISCOVER
from 00:09:bf:e5:60:3b via 10.90.38.1: load balance to peer btopenzone
May 25 15:49:16 btwlan-dns1 dhcpd: [ID 702911 local7.info] pool 3a2a5d0
10.90.38.0/26 total 61 free 30 backup 30 lts 0
May 25 15:49:16 btwlan-dns1 dhcpd: [ID 702911 local7.debug] DHCPDISCOVER
from 00:09:bf:e5:60:3b via 10.90.38.1: load balance to peer btopenzone
May 25 15:49:20 btwlan-dns1 dhcpd: [ID 702911 local7.info] pool 3a2a5d0
10.90.38.0/26 total 61 free 30 backup 30 lts 0
May 25 15:49:20 btwlan-dns1 dhcpd: [ID 702911 local7.debug] DHCPDISCOVER
from 00:09:bf:e5:60:3b via 10.90.38.1: load balance to peer btopenzone
May 25 15:49:25 btwlan-dns1 dhcpd: [ID 702911 local7.info] pool 3a2a5d0
10.90.38.0/26 total 61 free 30 backup 30 lts 0
May 25 15:49:25 btwlan-dns1 dhcpd: [ID 702911 local7.debug] DHCPDISCOVER
from 00:09:bf:e5:60:3b via 10.90.38.1: load balance to peer btopenzone

The request is never seen on the other side...

If the load balancing is disabled (i.e. one box taken down) the server
responds to all requests and is fine...

Strange..any ideas?

Cheers
