I have an idea to use swatch to examine the log file.
If the error appeared on the log, a tailor make script will be initiated via swatch.

Well, yes. I was thinking along the lines of extracting a list of hosts
from the error messgaes, then verifying the list, then using that as a
parameter to delete the records. Otherwise it could be a bit
dangerous.
