Can PPTP client request the DHCPINFO via the PPP interface(s)?

Most PPP servers do not, in fact, backend to DHCP in order to give out
addresses - they use their own protocol called IPCP to provide the
needed info to clients.

Are you 100% sure your PPP server is backending to DHCP - as such
functionality is not particularly common, and the indication that you
say nothing in DHCPd.log is further evidence of that.

Subject: Can PPTP client request the DHCPINFO via the PPP interface(s)?

Dear Sir/Madam,

I have the ISC-DHCPd and PPTPd running on my Linux
machine. After the PPTP client (Windows PC)
successfully connect to it, I found the
"connection-specific DNS Suffix:" information is not
filled in if I type "ipconfig" on PC's CMD prompt.
