ISC DHCP on a Solaris 10 Container

I attempted to run ISC DHCP server 3.0.3 on a Solaris 10 container (zone) 
but receive this error message:

"Can't get interface flags for lo0: No such device or address"

After reading a bit more it appears that the ISC DHCP server will not run 
in a Solaris 10 container (yet - I also read Sun is working on that!). Can 
anyone confirm this can't currently be done, so I can move to plan B!
