Changing leaseperiod

Hello,

 

Question about DHCP server.

We wonder if changing the leaseperiod in the configuration has any effect of all the leases that are already present in the leaseDB? Because if that is the case all renewals of the clients can be disturbed. We expect that for a renewal only the new leaseperiod will be set to the client.

 

Can anybody answer this question?
