Hi all,

I am running the DHCP client on my system.

I have made some changes in the code for some particular feature.

But I am seeing that whenever client releases an IP and acquire a new
one, there is a memory leak.

But the leak is happening at the kernel level. I can see 10k memory leak
with each trasition.

I tried to track all the system calls but could not find out anything.

Please can someone give me some way to find it out.

Also a small doubt, If the the system on which the client is running is
not in the network or not connected.

So client does not send any discover anywhere.

I am seeing that it is taking much more time to come to COULD NOT get IP
state than when it is connected and dies not get an y server in the
network.

Anyway, in the both cases it prints the message that the

"waiting for a valid server response " from signal handler.

Thanks and regards,

-sandeep
