You can either put an A record in each zone pointing to the IP address
of the server "red" or you can put an A record in the primary zone
which the server is a member of and a CNAME in the secondary zone
pointing to the primary zone. Either way it shouldn't make any
difference (unless the McAfee software explicitely looks for an A
record and doesn't follow CNAMES).
