Yes. I'm using BIND 9.2.2rc1 on FreeBSD 4.7 (well, it's 4.7-STABLE) without
any problems. You can either compile it yourself or you can edit the
net/bind9 port in the ports collection to use 9.2.2rc1 instead of the
9.2.1-version it wants to use. Here are some small diffs you might use:
