You can use THE wildcard "*" to match a label....
So
* IN A 127.0.0.1
Is a valid "IN A" record.
Thats about as far as it goes...
Example - guppy.eighth-layer.internal doesn't have an A
record....
more eighth-layer.internal.db

PS: Don't copy this example.... the values are daft and the
comments don't match in SOA.
