Who knows if anything is proof for a whole millennium? And if you're
asking about whether it's good until the end of THE millennium, then you
have a whole thirteen more months to find out. ;-) But if you are
asking about the so-called Y2K problem, then go to www.isc.org and look
at the pointer clearly therein marked.
No good software has any problems with the beginning of the 2000's in
the last year of this millennium.

However, on that Web site you will also find that BIND 4.* is highly
deprecated: all security fixes have been made to BIND 8.*.
