Not nslookup, but nsupdate as Brian Cuttler said.  nslookup is purely
a query tool;
nsupdate implements the DNS Update protocol, which is one of the mechanisms
that Windows DNS server supports.

So, yes, you can go Linux -> Windows using nsupdate.
