AIX and 9.9.5 compiling

Good Afternoon,
                    I just want to verify that 9.9.5 can be compiled in AIX
with the binaries provided in the download the same you would compile in
RHEL or SLES. I do understand that libraries have to be correct but want to
be sure the BIND download works in AIX.
