question about multiple queries in a single dns packet

Not sure if this is the right place to ask but I've been trying to dig
around and found nothing...

reading the dns specification it would seems possible to send multiple
request in a single packet.

there is a "QDCOUNT" WORD which would suggest it can be done but I can't
find any implementaiton that will support it and when I try to forge a
packet I'm getting "format error" back from the bind server.

wireshark is reading the packed right it seems (see attached). But bind is
not answering.

is bind lacking the capability or is there something I am doing wrong?

any help would be much appreciated.

TIA
