$generate lhs problem. Manual needs to be updated.

But what if they actually wanted:

        $GENERATE 1-127 q${3,0,d}.m0.foo.com. A 12.1.1.$

The sample expansion is not just possible on the LHS.  It's
ambidextrous.  :)

I'm still not clear what the issue is.
