You can't have a CNAME record and other data for a name. In this zone
you have a CNAME, and SOA and two NS records for domain.com. Because
it's the apex of your zone, and you must have the SOA and NS records,
you won't be able to use a CNAME there.

You can use an A record instead, and have us.domain.com be a CNAME to
domain.com if you want.
