BIND Based Appliances.

I wasn't pushing use of any appliance.  I was saying that use of BIND on
Linux and UNIX servers was a valid way of doing things.  I noted we
don't use any appliance here.   I was responding to someone that seemed
to imply my suggestion of using BIND on Linux wasn't a "real world"
view.   Not clear why you picked my comments rather than his to respond
to as it makes it seem you thought I was suggesting appliances were the
way to go which I most definitely was not.

ISC is open to suggestions, especially if they come with sponsorship in
some form, as to how we can improve BIND and DHCP's usability and
integration.  With all due respect to those who bundle our protocol
engines
into their appliances or suites, we also cherish our direct relevance to
the enterprise.  If there's a way we should improve, please tell us,
either
on this mailing list, or in direct e-mail to me (which i'll summarize),
or
call me at my desk (+1 650 423 1301).
