It's on:

# rndc status
number of zones: 25
debug level: 0
xfers running: 0
xfers deferred: 0
soa queries in progress: 0
query logging is ON
recursive clients: 15/0/1000
tcp clients: 0/100
server is up and running

The bind user has the correct permissions:

# ll /var/log/query.log
-rw-r--r--  1 bind  bind     0B Jun  5 14:13:03 2008 /var/log/query.log

It's running on a FreeBSD 7.

I don't know what else to do...
