yes.  though that would not have helped me in my own personal server,
it is a reasonable way to protect unpatchable yet stable servers, as
long as someone someday doesn't forget why the forwarding configuration
is there and turn it off for perceived performance reasons.

ISC has offered to let our BIND Support customers use our global anycast
servers in a forwarding configuration for up to 90 days, since august 6
is rapidly approaching.  opendns and dnsadvantage also offer recursion.
so if you don't have a server to forward to, you can find one.
