All
I tried compiling named 64bit with Sun compilers on Solaris x86 and running on a Sun 4100M2 server.
It runs for while and then it crashes under load.
Here is the output of adb run on the core file.

adb /usr/sbin/named /var/tmp/core
core file = /var/tmp/core -- program ``/opt/ATTdns/sbin/named'' on platform
i86pc
SIGSEGV: Segmentation Fault

00000000fe920000 ld.so.1`callable+6(feffdca8, feffdca8, 0)
00000000fe920020 ld.so.1`_lookup_sym+0x44(feffdca8, fe920048, fe9200e4, fe9200e8
, c)
00000000fe920074 ld.so.1`lookup_sym+0x1aa(fe920098, fe9200e4, fe9200e8)
00000000fe9200f0 ld.so.1`elf_bndr+0xff(feffdca8, 268, 81b95e7)
00000000fe920110 ld.so.1`elf_rtbndr+0x14(268, 81b95e7, 9, fe920148, fe92803c, 0
)
00000000fe92ffd8 0xfeffdca8(82b1988)
00000000fe92ffec libc.so.1`_thr_setup+0x4e(fec42a00)
00000000fe92fff8 libc.so.1`_lwp_start(fec42a00, 0, 0, fe92fff8, fee33d70,
fec42a00)

Can anyone see why it is happening for 64bit build? I don't see it crashing on 32bit build. I was trying 64bit trying to avoid the too many files open errors.

Thanks
Rupam
