Apologies, I confused DDNS with DNSSEC, I believe you're referring to
dynamic DNS, correct? In which case, no, there's no need for it, this is
purely a name caching server for itself and an authoritative server for
the outside world for a single domain.

Your configuration doesn't allow DDNS updates.  I'm assuming that you
don't expect this activity otherwise you would have allowed for it.
