High processor windows 2003 64 bit

I am using the latest stable binary for Windows 2003 64 bit and am having an
issue where the processor will peak using up to 70% of the processor. Anyone
have any ideas what could cause this or give me some ideas on what to turn
on in logging to hunt the error down? I was running under Windows 2000 32
bit just last week and never had this problem, I'm now on a server that 4x
as powerful and it's bringing it down to its knees.
