remotesite.thisdomain.org in thisdomain.org zone? (Yes, it is a stupid
question, but since we do not have the real domain name, we can only
guess.) Do these NS records match with what there is in the
remotesite.thisdomain.org zone?

Was the delegation tested with a domain checking tool like Zonecheck
(http://www.zonecheck.fr/)?

It really looks like remotesite.thisdomain.org was not properly
delegated.
