How to control own domain/zonefile ?

Very simple: register a domain name in a TLD which does not use
registrars like ".ch" (https://nic.switch.ch/reg/indexView.action).

Read RFCs 3632 on RRP and RFC 3730 on EPP (do note that not all TLD
use these protocols). Or go through a middleman who have read them :-)
