RES: dynamic DNS updates using nsupdate - which view is updated?

The nameserver will answer with the updated information immediately.
When the updates are committed to the main zone file, is completely up
to named, depending on loading/scheduling, and you really shouldn't be
relying on any particular timeframe for that. Do a zone transfer if you
want to see the entire contents of a zone.

                                                               - Kevin
