Synchronous loading of a zone

Hi Everyone:

Due to operation needs, I'd like to load a zone synchronously.

In normal operation, you have a zone and issue a command "rndc reload  
<zone>" and rndc ask to the server to reload the zone. That goes to an  
"event queue", and the server will try to load the zone as soon as  
possible. Waiting a fixed amount of time to check if the zone was loaded  
it is not a perfect solution (prone to errors).

Is it any way to accomplish this task using BIND? Anyone could propose a  
better approach?
