The compiles-in roots are supposed for emergency cases. Gettin a fresh root-list and a proper named.conf is what a sane dns-admin is supposed to do. Installing such an old bind as 9.2.4 does not make sense to me. Why don't you grab the source and install a recent one ? Shurly less trouble then dealing with a unknown rpm.
