syncronizing 2 dns server (windows/linux)

If you check the last few days on this list, you'll see what happens
when a windows user, who knows their way around Linux/unix, who used
to use Bind 4 and some fairly complex, small internal networks, who
knew the protocols used back then (almost certainly out of date now),
etc., tries to get the latest bind 9 binary distribution to work on
windows.

There was no "Plug it is and go" sample configuration. The simplest
configuration -- a local caching name server to work around a broken
ISP -- did not come with the distribution, and required a "How do I
set this up?" help call to the list.

Potential concerns with the installer -- including the fact that it
will let you create a service account without a password, which then
becomes a useless account -- have been brought up.

Is there a lot of documentation? There certainly is some.

Is there enough for it to be usable out of the box? I'd say no.
