removal of bind-9.3.1

Hello,
     SuseLinux Prof 9.1 came with bimd-9.2.3 ,
but I removed it using the package manager YasT, and
then I installed bind-9.3.1.

Now, bind-9.3.1 is not working satisfactorily, because
I now suspect that I compiled it incorrectly. I am now
trying to remove bind-9.3.1, and it is difficult task
because it does not show up in the package manager
YasT.

Anybody have any idea how to remove bind-9.3.1 ??
