bind9: RAM isn't freed

Hi,

I observed, that bind (bind-9.3.2b2) didn't free RAM, once occupied. First, I loaded the zones, bind occupied aprox. 800 MB, after heavy dynamic updates (nsupdate) and zone transfers (out), the memory usage increased to 2,5 GB. None of the memory is freed after longer period of low activty (more than 12 hours).
Is this standard behavoir ?
