Hi James and Scott,
Many thanks for your hint, I should have pay attention to this point
earlier. I started my named daemon as "/usr/local/sbin/named -4" and now
it is no more slow.
What will happen when I use "/usr/local/sbin/rndc reload"? will it
continue to use "-4" or I have to do something else?
MJ

It has a quite well-documented problem with trying to use IPv6 transport
even when it's not available.
To see if this is the problem try running 9.2.3 with the -4 switch.
