Bind 9 is slow?

I did one experiment. On the same machine I stopped named (bind 9) and
started the built-in in.named (bind 8.2), with all the same config
files, I noticed that now it is not slow. So some thing wrong with bind
9.2.3?

	No, but when you're talking about having problems with a given 
version, one obvious thing to try is upgrading to the latest stable 
version that is available.  If that doesn't fix the problem, then 
there may be something more severe going on, which would need more 
in-depth debugging.
