	Sauron?  Looking at <http://freshmeat.net/projects/sauron/>, it 
seems that the release version (0.6.2) hasn't been updated since June 
of 2003, and the development version (0.7.1) hasn't been updated 
since January of 2004.  Now, the home page at <http://sauron.jyu.fi/> 
indicates that there has been some more recent work (0.7.2 was 
released in May of 2005), and also mentions that it is in use 
managing the Campus Area Network of the Computing Center of 
University of Jyväskylä (in Finland).

	It appears to make use of BIND and ISC dhcpd, so as far as that 
side is concerned, they don't introduce any new problems.

	As for the rest, if you're looking for a GUI SQL database-driven 
tool for managing your DNS and DHCP information and you don't want to 
pay any money for it, then you'd probably have to check it out for 
yourself and see how it compares to something like Webmin.

	Sauron is not going to fare particularly well when compared to 
commercial-grade systems like the ones that InfoBlox sells, but then 
you may not need that.
