Well I still support software on machines that don't have anything like
pthreads, like older SCO machines, and I'm just used to doing things
this way. select() - and WaitForMultipleObjects() - really just rocks :-)

Furthermore, this application just doesn't feel thread-y: I have one
loop reading the lines from the weblogs, and am already building a
list of outstanding work, so I don't see how running multiple threads
would really be any better than doing it this way.

P.S. - No clues other than "blocked using reject-mail.vix.com"?
