DNS entries

Thanks for the response David.  It was however a public IP 24.xx.xx.xx

As a test last night, I inserted the primary DNS name for the name server of 
hosting company and it accepted it.  Could it be that I can't point this 
entry directly to the IP address of my website IP, but rather it has to 
point to the name server, which in turn points to by Win2K3 box hosting the 
site?
